April 28, 2018 Noon to Five Free Festival!
The Karshner Museum and Center for Culture & Arts offers a wonderful free day of interactive science stations, exhibits and performances for all ages on April 28, 2018 from noon to five. The Pacific Science Center will bring a presentation called “Super Cool Science Show” and a whole gym of interactive exhibits that becomes an engaging science playground for all participants.
Pt. Defiance Zoo handlers will present zoo animals up close and personal while sharing strange facts, their care, habits, and endangered status.
Build a City with a whole room of Legos and Kids4Bricks. Play and learn in the Puyallup Fair Farm Exhibit and see robotics in action.
Find the exotic blue iridescent butterfly, the bumpy shelled crab, the mammoth tooth and other strange and unique artifacts in the “science on display” exhibit. Be amazed by the fossils, bugs and butterflies, birds, nests and eggs, sea creatures to leafy sea plants and shells, rocks and gems and one giant cougar – all from the collection of Dr. Warner Karshner.
