Looking for more free things to do with your kiddos this summer? United Way of King County has partnered with area organizations to provide a FREE lunch to children ages 18 and under at area parks, libraries, apartment complexes, community centers and spots around the South Sound.
Lunches are well balanced and always include protein, fruit, and a beverage. All of this, for FREE with no strings attached! Some locations also include activities such as arts and crafts, or learning times.
To find the location nearest you, head to the Summer Meals page of the Resource Finder for King County.
If you’re in Tacoma, the USDA Summer Free Meal Program offers free lunch at area parks in Tacoma Monday-Friday, from 12:00pm-1:00pm, through August 26. In years past, the lunch has included a FULL lunch from Subway! Sorry, parents, you’ll have to pack your own.
