Where to Buy Hot Chocolate Bombs Near Tacoma and the South Sound

November 25, 2020 by Maegen Blue

Hot chocolate bombs are all the rage! If you’re looking to buy hot cocoa or hot chocolate bombs from a small, local business near Tacoma, Puyallup, or the South Sound, we’ve got your list!

A couple notes: I haven’t personally tried any of these spots (Yet!), so I thank you in advance for using the links to check out the details for yourself. Most of these are true small businesses. I have linked to Fb pages and websites, but you may also want to look them up on Instagram. Most tend to take orders via messaging or social media, and in many cases it’s one talented baker at work, so be understanding if they can’t accommodate a huge, last minute order.

If you know of a spot I should add, let me know! Note that while I know a lot of folks are making these on their own, I am trying to list small bakers that have the proper licensing (No, I haven’t inspected any of them-that part is on you. Thanks!

The Rolling Pin

This is a small batch, specialty bakery specializing in gluten free goodies! Some items are also egg free and dairy free. Based in Gig Harbor, you can follow their social for ordering, or you might find their goodies at Campfire Coffee (below). Here’s the website.

Campfire Coffee

We’ve heard so many good things about this spot! They have a downtown Tacoma location, or you can shop online.  As of this writing the hot cocoa bombs look to be sold out online, but check back? Lots of other good stuff, too. Here’s the website.

Mince Mercantile Dupont

Specialty deli with all kinds of tasty looking things. This is a bricks and mortar location; it looks like you can do curbside pick up, too. They have some specialty food items that make me want a scratch n sniff option on my laptop!

LillieBugs Sweet Creations

OMG, look at all the flavors! YUM-o! Made from scratch, licensed cottage baker.

The Sugar Mixer

Based in Graham. Her cookies look so cute, too! Here’s the website.

Funky Monkey Sweet Shoppe

Oh, the cuteness! Local pick up in UP/Lakewood/Tacoma area. Pinned post on the fb page has all the details on ordering.

Want to try it on your own?

This mold on Amazon has five star reviews. (Affiliate link). Update: Reader and site friend, Amy, let me know that this one works great, but ships slow, so I added another option below if you need one faster.
