This weekend, you can see Sesame Street, meet Daniel Tiger, explore an area park with a naturalist, or hit up a fun and free event at your library. Read on for all of that and more!

Indigo Frozen Fountain Ice Skating at Point Ruston, November 14th – February 2nd. The Grand Plaza at Point Ruston will be transformed into a winter wonderland! Follow link for admission details and holiday hours.

All Over
Barnes and Noble story time Most area stores offer a story time for children at 11am. We do suggest confirming with yours as we have found participation to be inconsistent. It’s Pig the Pug today.
Kids’ Club at Michael’s Stores
Choose from two different classes for kids every Saturday. 2.00 or 5.00 per child, depending on class. “Thumbprint snow scene” today. Note: Use the drop down menu to choose the class near you.

Sesame Street Live at the Showare Center in Kent
Jump to the beat with your friends on Sesame Street! Introducing an all-new, interactive show that unfolds on one of the world’s most famous streets at the funniest, furriest party in the neighborhood…get ready for Sesame Street LIVE! 2 and 6pm; there is also a, “Pre show experience,” option.
The Little Engine That Could at StoryBook Theater in Renton

The Sportsman’s Show is at the fairgrounds in Puyallup Saturday and Sunday. This is mostly an event for folks interested in camping, fishing, and other outdoor fun (or shopping for the gear for all this fun!) but there are some fun things for kids to look at and a fishing pond.

Are you interested in knowing more about our native frogs and salamanders? Are you 12 or older? Then this 9:30-11 am workshop is for you! Join Stream Team and herpetologist Dr. Marc P. Hayes for a fun, informative workshop exploring the ecology, habitat requirements, and unique characteristics of local species. You’ll learn how to identify different life stages of local amphibians with emphasis on egg mass identification. Register for this workshop at www.streamteam.info.
