PEPS: Support, Social and Play Groups for Moms and Dads with New Babies Near Kent, Auburn, and Renton
Have you just had a baby, or are you expecting a new baby soon? I am absolutely thrilled to tell you about a great sort of support for moms and dads today, from our new sponsors with PEPS.
PEPS stands for Program for Early Parent Support, and it’s probably the best way I know to instantly create a village for you and your baby.
Having a newborn is thrilling, but it can also be scary and isolating. I’m sure I’m not the only one who was a little (or maybe a lot?) terrified when I realized they were actually letting us walk out of the hospital with a tiny human!
PEPS groups meet regularly, with trained leaders who facilitate discussions on topics like feeding, sleeping, and more. Plus, you’ll be getting out of the house and having fun. My sister did PEPS with my nephews, and 13 years later she still gets together with PEPS friends. How fun is that?
PEPS is a welcoming, inclusive program for new parents from all backgrounds, and I’m super excited to share that PEPS has expanded into South King County.
If you’re one of our readers near Renton or Kent, there is now a PEPS group near you! Hooray! Ready to try PEPS? You can head here to find out more and sign up for a group near you!
