I’m crazy excited about this new Facebook group I’ve started, and I hope you’ll join!
It’s called 5.00 Fridays For South Puget Sound Schools, and it’s a way for us to pool small donations together to fully fund projects for teachers and classrooms in need!
Here’s how it works:
Each Friday we’ll choose one local teacher’s project to support from DonorsChoose.
If you’ve joined the group I hope you’ll donate 5.00 (or whatever amount you can) to the chosen project.
It’s a way for just a few of your dollars to combine with other dollars to equal a big difference for local teachers. Often these projects don’t get funded, and that’s really a shame, especially when they just miss their goal by a few bucks. Let’s change that!
If you like the idea of being part of a movement for good; a small, positive thing you can do to help area kiddos, I hope you’ll consider joining in.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Look for the chosen project every Friday. You may want to set some kind of alert on your phone if you do that sort of thing.
Consider supporting the project with 5.00 if you’re able.
Look for updates when projects get fully funded and kids and teachers get support for their class projects. Awesome, right?
