Steilacoom Historical Museum Association hosts their annual Apple Squeeze on Sunday, October 1. Make fresh squeezed cider and purchase apple treats. Last year’s event included apple trees for sale and an apple expert on hand to answer questions, along with children’s activities, pony rides, and more. If you’re new to the area, this is a lovely town, with an old-fashioned charm. Lot of eats-I’m told you should wear your stretchy pants!
Short version: If you can’t arrive early you may want to skip the lines for the cider press and buy some in a jug and get to the other fun!
There are a few similar events coming up later this month, including the Cider Squeeze at the Meeker Mansion in Puyallup. Our complete list of apple and cider events is here!
