Are you going to The Fair this year? If you are, I want to make sure you know about this cool new fair attraction!
It’s called the Imagination Workshop, and it’s put on by the same creative team behind the immersive North Pole experience. It’s a whole building full of toys and props and interactive fun to encourage creative play. Kids can build, put on a show, drive trains, and so much more!
It is a paid attraction, but admission is just ten tickets (There is a ticket booth right outside) or the same as 5.00 per kiddo (so what you’d spend on about a minute of rides!) and accompanying grown ups are free!
Kids can stay and play as long as they’d like, there are benches the grown ups can sit on, and it’s air conditioned!! Woot!
I think this is a particularly nice option for those of you with younger kiddos, although the organizers tell me they’ve seen big kid and grown up, “Kids,” having just as much fun!
You’ll find the Imagination Workshop by the Red Gate. That’s a bit of a hidden area during fair time, so don’t miss it. The Fred Oldfield Museum is also there. You can ask about their kids’ art classes and do some rock painting! If you’d like to read more about the Imagination Workshop you can do that here!
