We’re loving the cleaner air over here, and we’re loving this weekend’s list! It’s full of great fun (lots of it FREE) to celebrate the end of summer and the start of fall! Rock Painting Party at WiggleWorks 10-12 All supplies included! Free with paid, all day, come and go admission. Parents are free and free to paint rocks! Older sibs who are too big for the playground but would like to paint can also come for free! Great way to get in on the painted rock craze without the mess!
Rodeo Parade, Cattle Drive and Free Fair Admission Watch the parade for free, and then head into the fair for free admission from 10:30-12:30 when you donate new school supplies!
Free Companionship Carnival at Frontier Park 6-8PM Companionship events are designed to be inclusive for children with special needs and are are open to all. Fun, games, and prizes!
The Biggest Bounce House in the World is in Bonney Lake! There are quite a few times on Friday and very few on Saturday or Sunday. Be sure to check the FAQs to buy tickets to the right session for your kiddos and you!

Ranger lead hike at Point Defiance Park 1-2PM Free; not suitable for strollers; perfect for ages 3 and up
Free tours at Brown’s Point Lighthouse Park 1-4PM. Great little park. Only downside is parking is almost nonexistent, and no, the club next door will not share. It is worth finding, though!
EggBot at Kobetich Library EggBot is a mini robot drawing tool that makes designs on eggs and similarly shaped objects. Free, but you do need to register. Spots at both libraries as of this writing. 10:30 here or 3PM at Fern Hill
Summer Ender Fender Bender at the LeMay ACM car and motorcycle show; food trucks; vendors. Free event. Does Not include admission to the museum, but that is discounted today.
Pierce College Science Dome show Children’s shows at 12:30 or 2 See an interactive show in the area’s only indoor planetarium! Nice, indoor option!
Don’t miss event for your truck lovers! Climb in and explore all kinds of big rigs. No horns hour for children with sensory issues. More here. 10-1; no horns at 12. Free event; there will be t-shirts for sale.
12th St. Festival Inflatables, the Reptile Man, food and family fun! Free admission! Should be a great, community event!
The Lewis Army Museum has reopened as of the 31st. 1-5PM daily; free admission. Be sure to read the ID requirements first!
OFS Kids’ Club and the Olympia Farmer’s Market present a free showing of Kiki’s Delivery ServiceFree for kids 12 and under; 8.00 general admission; 5.00 adult members
It’s all about seashells at the LOTT Wet Science Center today. Presentation at 2PM; crafts and themed fun all day. Admission is always free.
Free Tinkergarten trial class at Priest Point This is sort of an outdoor learning class for tots. It’s tuition based, but you can try one for free and see if you like it!
Harbor Hounds Walk Dog friendly street fair. Vendors, entertainment, bounce house and face painting for the kids!
Kitsap Live Steamers public run day These are mini trains that you ride by sitting right on top of! It’s great fun if you have a train lover or someone Thomas obsessed. Worth the trip!
Any weekend activities: visit your farmer’s market, tour the Harbor History Museum, or enjoy one of your gorgeous parks or trails. You might also see what’s going on at Discovery Village or the YMCA. Your Michael’s does typically do the craft as well.
