Have you heard about the Pierce County Toy and Geek Festival?
It’s a brand new celebration of all your favorite geekery, and it’s coming right up on Saturday the 12th right in Puyallup at the fairgrounds.
You’ll find vendors with new and vintage toys, comic books, video games, movies, as well as 16 artists displaying original works.
This is going to be an interactive event for the whole family with all kinds of kids’ activities, the Fisher Scone wagon, and, oh, yeah….photo ops. galore! If you have a Star Wars fan, in particular, don’t miss this! HINT!
And, I have a whole bunch of kids’ tickets to give away…..seriously, a whole, big bunch. If you’ve never won anything in your life, this may just be your day!
Do note these are kids’ tickets for kids 10 and under. You will still need to buy tickets for the grown ups, which are a very reasonable 6.00 or 10.00 if you want the sneak preview version.
Once you’re in the festival, the photo ops. and activities are free. You don’t have to spend any more money unless you find something great to buy from a vendor or you want a scone. You can check out the vendor list here-if you have a big collector at your house, you may want to discuss and set a budget first.
So, let’s give some tickets away, shall we?
First, make sure you can go! The festival is this Saturday, the 12th from 10AM-5PM at the fairgrounds. Checked? Great!
To enter, just leave a comment on this post telling us why you’d like to go and how many kids’ tickets you’d like. I’m going to ask you to use the honor system and only get tickets for your actual children.
I’ll notify winners by Thursday night at 6PM, and update this post when I’ve given away all the tickets we have to give. Please do leave an email you check.
If you’ve never commented before, it will go to my moderation queue first, but I promise to approve them just as soon as I get back from exercise class (There I said I’m going, so now I have to…..)
And, oh, yeah-I’ll be at the event in the morning near the kids’ area, so please do come say, “Hi!” We love to meet our readers!
Disclosure/Legal stuff: By entering you affirm your eligibility and assume responsibility for your experience. Winners will be chosen at random. I was not paid for this post, but we were given tickets to give to you. The organizer and his family are long time friends of this site, and we like them. 🙂 Photos property of Steve James/Pierce County Toy and Geek Festival. Used with permission; not to be reused.
