Updated for 2018-Did you know Michael’s offers low cost, kids’ art classes weekdays in the summer?
It’s true! We have the scoop on this fun mini kids’ camp at Michael’s for 2018.
It’s called Camp Creativity, and there are new projects every session, with cute themes and activities. Hour long sessions are 2.00 or 5.00 a piece depending on whether you choose the project for ages 3+ or the one for kids 6+. You can see the projects for each week by clicking on the pics that look like badges on the Camp Creativity home page.
Kids 3 and up are welcome, and you can attend as many (or as few) as you like. Do note that parents have to stay on site.
Sign up can be done online or in store.
To sign up online, you’ll need to go to kids’ programs, and then click on the button to see schedules by store and find yours.Double check the drop downs up top to make sure you’ve got the right location.
You can also sign up in store. Registration has been open for a while, so don’t wait too long if there is one you know your kiddo will want to do.
If you’d like to find your kids an actual art class, with real instruction, be sure to read our post on art classes for kids at The Fred Oldfield Center at the fairgrounds in Puyallup. They’re amazing! They also offer bargain priced summer camps, and you can read more about those, along with other creative and artistic camp options on the Fine Arts Camps page of the summer camp guide!
Oh, and if weekday stuff doesn’t work for you, don’t forget that Michael’s does do free or low cost kids’ activities almost every weekend. You can always find them in our weekend list right here every Friday!
We’re rolling out all our summer content this week, so do be sure to check back often!
