Instead of traditional store bought Valentine cards, handcraft “lovely flowers” to wish that special someone a Happy Valentine’s Day! This so sweet craft is perfect whether you need Valentines for the whole class or just one special one for a teacher or grandma.
If you’re all set for Valentine’s Day, this craft would be sweet for Mother’s Day-or anytime!
Select the color of the desired construction paper and fold the sheet in half as shown in the photo.
Open the paper and using scissors, cut the paper along the folded line creating two half sheets.Fold each half sheets down the middle.
Keeping the paper folded in half, use a pencil to draw heart shapes along the folded edge of the paper.
Use scissors to cut out each heart shape.
Open the heart shape and place a small rolled piece of tape to the center middle of the heart along the folded line or onto the back of the lollipop.
Adhere the lollipop to the center of the heart.
Now, prepare the paper to make the leaves by repeating steps 1-3.
Using a pencil, draw the shape of the leaf starting from the folded side of the paper.
Using the scissors, cut out each leaf shape.
Then, cut a small slit into the folded side of the leaf.
Open the leaf cutout and slip the lollipop into the slit.
Use a small piece of tape to secure the leaves to the back of the lollipop.
Now, it’s ready to give to that special someone!
