Lego Batman mini build at Toys R Us. Make and take home a Bat Car. These are mini model sized. Go on the early side and prepare for a line. They have had plenty at our store in Puyallup, but reports have been mixed at other locations. 1-3PM. Free More here

Bee My Valentine at the Shadow Lake Nature Preserve Enjoy valentines, treats, and learn about getting ready for spring by supporting native pollinators! 10.00 per person suggested donation. An all ages event but kids should bring a grown up.
Love Your Community Kid-X event at the Outlet Collection in Auburn Love themed activities and crafts for kids to do, plus community organizations on hand with information. The goody bags at these are always good! 10AM-12
Visit the HCC Mast Center at Redondo The center and its touch tanks of sea critters are free and open to the public every Saturday from 10-2 Back open!
Make an old-fashioned Valentine at the Bonney Lake Library. 2PM show up and create with glitter, scissors, and glue!
Lego My Library at the Puyallup Public Library Stories and Lego building time 11AM.
Asia Pacific Cultural Center New Year’s Celebration at the Tacoma Dome Guam is the featured country this year. Free, family event 11AM-6PM. games, live entertainment, crafts; you may want to bring some cash for food and vendor booths.
PBS Playdate at the Children’s Museum. It’s Dinosaur Train today. Included with your pay-as-you-will admission these are craft/activity programs with tie-ins to PBS shows. They fill on a first come, first served basis, and we’ve heard mixed reviews on that. Let us know how it goes if you do this one. 10AM-11:30

Family nature walk at Titlow Park Volunteers from the Tacoma Nature Center lead a free walk. You are Required to register now. Not suitable for strollers; perfect for ages 3 and up. 10AM
Pier Peer in Tacoma. Evening event Head to the Foss Waterway and look for sea creatures drawn to the dock lights. For ages 8 and up; 8.00 per person; pre-reigstation required. Each child needs an accompanying grown up.
Children and all ages shows at the Pierce College Science Dome/planetarium Children’s show at 12:30 or 2PM; all ages at 3:15. The children’s show is shorter and interactive and now expanded to suit ages 3-12! My kiddo LOVED it. Seriously-this is a Great outing. Go! You do want to buy tickets in advance or bring cash.
Valentine’s Card craft at the Tillicum Library 2PM. Drop in for some old-fashioned card making fun!

Every weekend fun: Your Michael’s does usually do the kids’ craft. You could also check out the touch tanks at the Skansie Visitors’ Center, visit the Harbor History Museum, or go play at Discovery Village, the Y, or one of your great parks or trails.
