Meet Elmo and Abby during their pop up tour K is for Kindness at Westfield Southcenter! More info also here. The event will be open to the public from 11am-4pm, with a live show repeating at 11:30am, 1pm, and 2:45pm. Following each performance, there is a story time. Following the story time, there is a lineup for the photo opp with Elmo and Abby. There is also an open photo opp with the stoop of 123 Sesame Street that will be open starting at 11am.
Visit the HCC Mast Center at Redondo The center and its touch tanks of sea critters are free and open to the public every Saturday from 10-2 Back open!

Play and Grow Storytime at Wheelock 10:30. weekly stories, rhymes, and songs for young children and a favorite grown up
Valentine Card Making at Blooming Kids Consignment. Two sessions; 15.00, and they’ll make a set for the class. Cute idea, right?
Family nature walk at Wapato Hills Park. 10AM Volunteers from the Tacoma Nature Center lead a free walk. You are Required to register now. Not suitable for strollers; perfect for ages 3 and up. Ask for parking suggestions when you call-there are a lot of streets restricted to residential permits around this area.
Children and all ages shows at the Pierce College Science Dome/planetarium Children’s show at 12:30 or 2PM; all ages at 3:15. The children’s show is shorter and interactive and now expanded to suit ages 3-12! My kiddo LOVED it. Seriously-this is a Great outing. Go! You do want to buy tickets in advance or bring cash.

Anytime fun: Your Michael’s does usually do the kids’ craft. You can also check out the touch tanks at the Skansie Visitors’ Center, visit the Harbor History Museum, or go play at Discovery Village (Did you hear they have new owners?), the Y, or one of your great parks or trails.
