SuperHero Party!

January 30, 2017 by Maegen Blue

Several of you have asked about the fun SuperHero party for kids from Pierce County Parks and Rec. Here’s the scoop! Note that you do have to pre-register by February 8th, so don’t wait too long if your caped crusader wants in.

“Come dressed in your favorite Superheroes costume or just wear a black t-shirt to participate in our annual Superhero Party!”

Games, crafts, a dance party, and punch and a snack are included in the price, which is 13.00 per child. Each child will also go home with some hero souvenirs.

The event is Saturday, February 11th from 2-4PM at Meridian Habitat Park-that’s the one on South Hill with the pond across from the Walgreens. Kids under 5 need to have a grown up stay. For questions or to register, call 253 798 4177 or register online. Pierce County Parks events are open to all; you need not live in a particular area.

Is there an age cut off? Like could an 11 yr old attend?

    Hi, Lindsay,
I don’t know, but if you give Pierce County Parks a call they can let you know. I think most of the crowd will be preschool/primary age kids, so it might be a matter of whether he would be comfortable. My 11 year old is way into superheroes, but he prefers Comic Con type events these days.
