Any Moana fans? This sing-along version looks like it would be fun to see!
Plus, haven’t you always wanted to sing along at the movies?
If you’d like to find a show near you, here’s a link to Fandango. You may need to change the zip code. There look to be quite a few theaters, and multiple dates to choose from.
We haven’t seen this one yet. I’d love to hear reviews from those of you who have!

Hello! I was given the name of this site by a coworker and figured you might know.. are there any theaters in the area that do separate showings for families with children that have special needs? We moved here from CA and there was one near us there. I haven’t found one in this area. They usually keep the lights on and turn the volume down.
Hey, Makayla,
Yes, some of the AMC theaters do. I know Kent and Southcenter participated in the past.
Neither of them is great about putting it on the schedule, though, so you’ll want to call the box office.
Here is the info. on the AMC site https://www.amctheatres.com/programs/sensory-friendly-films
I’m not sure where you are or what kinds of needs your kiddo has, but the Best source of info. for sensory friendly events in the area is the Exceptional Families Network in Lakewood. They have a special time at the Children’s Museum and put out a newsletter with all kinds of activities for families with kids with special needs. I have a child with learning differences. I don’t write about them, but if you want to chat more about resources, you’re welcome to drop me a line at soundsfunmom@gmail.com Here’s the fb page for Exceptional Families https://www.facebook.com/exceptionalfamiliesnetwork/?fref=ts. Hope that helps, and thanks for stopping by!
