If you’ve got a train or Thomas lover, don’t miss your chance to take your kids to the big, family friendly train show coming to the fairgrounds in Puyallup!
I got in touch with the organizers to find out how much there would be for kids.
First, they explained that there are two different train shows. This show, World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour, has not been in the area since 2009.
You might have been to one of their other shows that appear more frequently in Puyallup. This version has even more to love-more manufacturers, lots more layouts, the ride-on Thomas, and more!
There is also a kids’ play area where your kids can get down and play to their heart’s content, and yes, tons of trains to look at and plenty of opportunities to shop! I will say the money I spent on my boys’ trains when they were little was really dollars well spent compared to a lot of the other plastic junk and doodads we ended up with. Both my guys put track together and played trains for hours and hours.
You can get more information about the show and see pictures of the train kids can ride in here at their site. I would definitely check that out so the kids know what to picture and expect. You can also check them out on Facebook.
The show is Saturday and Sunday, the 20th and 21st at the fairgrounds in Puyallup. It runs 10AM-6 on Saturday and 10AM-5PM Sunday. Kids 16 and under are FREE and don’t need tickets. Parking is also FREE. Adult tickets are available at the door (cash only) or buy online and get a discounted rate! You can do that here.
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, but the opinions are all my own! If you buy tickets online be sure to say you saw the event on Sounds Fun Mom. Thanks for doing that!
