Hey, Tacoma, have you tried this fun new pool yet?
If you could stand be under some Warm water, it might be just the ticket. It’s the People’s Pool on Hilltop in Tacoma. It’s the area’s newest, indoor public pool, and the only one in the area with an indoor spray pad for little ones. In addition to the spray pad, cool features include
A three-lane lap pool
A small version of a lazy river minus tubes called a current channel
Floating pads for walk-on-water play
Two, poolside basketball hoops
There are also two party rooms, two family changing areas/restrooms, and one additional restroom. Read on for directions, hours, and a tip on when you can go for FREE! We also have a link to our popular post on other area pools with awesome features your kids will love. All are open to the public and a total bargain compared to most water parks!

This place was very nice. It’s free on 1st Saturday of month, but gets busy. Lily pad area has min height and age (7 yrs) required, which was hard for our autistic son to understand. And no flotation device in deep end allowed. Lots of rules, but fun.
Thanks for that very helpful review, Stephanie. We appreciate it!
Have you done any events with Exceptional Families Network? They do some swim nights, though I think usually at less, “Fancy,” pools. 🙂
This is a very clean pool. The water is a nice temperature. We went on spring break and had the pool almost to ourselves. The lily pads are not set up during family swim, and there are a lot of rules that seemed a bit overkill. The pool would be more fun too if there were a slide. Despite obstacles, kids + water = fun.
Thanks for the review, Sarah! We really appreciate it!
