Visit the LOTT Wet Science Center The center is free and open all day. Wetland themed crafts today with a slide show at 1PM followed by a tour of the treatment plant-kids need to be 10 and up for that and wearing closed toe shoes.
Summer Splash at the Hands-On Children’s Museum Variety of special activities are available with admission all summer. The kids can also enjoy the water stream on the adjacent plaza.
Lacey in Tune movies at dusk Last chance for a free outdoor movie in Lacey this summer It’s Star Wars-The Force Awakens Spread out on the lawn and enjoy a great movie under the stars! It’s peak wildflower viewing time at Mt.Rainier! Here are some kid friendly options. You need to go Early on a weekend. Weekdays are a great alternative. Note-We also had good luck going Late, but this won’t work for everyone with a bedtime, and you’ll miss the visitor’s centers etc…
