Updated for 2019
There are fun events all around Pierce County and the greater South Sound for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th. I’m a bit late getting this up this year, but these are drop in events, and isn’t dropping over to say, “Hey,” to the neighbors what this is all about?

Lacey In the past, Horizon Pointe homeowners have had a large event at the park. I haven’t found info. on that or anything else official for Lacey, but there is an awesome, FREE children’s concert for Lacey friends tonight at Huntamer, so you may want to head there!
Olympia I haven’t found any info, but in past years the police have visited neighborhood parties.
And, hey, if there isn’t an event organized near you, it’s not too late to make something happen! Make a batch of cookies and go meet some neighbors!
If you know of another National Night Out event you’d like to share, just leave it in the comments-keeping in mind this is a public site, and I won’t be screening ’em! 🙂
PS While you’re meeting your neighbors, be sure to tell them about your favorite local site! You know….this one…..
