Drive In Style Movies in the South Sound This Summer
Most of the usual movies in the park have been cancelled due to Covid, BUT several locations are offering drive-in style movies for the summer of 2020 instead.
I know that Metro Parks Tacoma is thinking about offering one. I’ll keep you posted if they do! Note that some area websites have listed a free outdoor movie in Lacey, but as far as I can tell, this is Lacey, New Jersey. Lacey, Washington Parks and Rec is not offering an outdoor movie that I’ve found as of this writing.
Outdoor movies are being offered at the Expo Center this summer. The next shows are Jurassic Park on July 17th and Ferris Bueller’s Day off on the 18th. You’ll want to get your ticket in advance. It’s 20.00 per car load.
The Access Showare Center in Kent is hosting Drive in movies this summer. We really like that the earlier one starts at a family friendly time of 6:30. Tickets are 30.00 or 40.00 per carload.
