Friday

Free show with Recess Monkey at Charles Wright 6PM   What a great summer evening! Kick-off vacation with some kindie rock!

Kids’ Takeover at WiggleWorks  You still have time to reserve your spot-supervised play, fun, and pizza for the kids while you get a night out! Fees and reservations are required.

Kids’ activities at the Meeker Mansion today. 

All Weekend

It’s Meeker Days in Puyallup! Three big days of fun with vendors, kids’ activities, entertainment and more. The Farmer’s Market is also fun. Note from SFM: This is always fun, but it does seem to get spendier every year. Bring some cash. Note that even if you’re not going, there are street closures around the event, so plan ahead.

Saturday

All Over

 Story Time at most Barnes and Noble stores. 11AM   We do suggest calling your location to confirm, as we have found participation to be inconsistent. Activities follow It’s a Father’s Day theme today.

Kids’ Club at Michael’s Stores  2.00/child for 30 minute sessions 10-12 It’s a dinosaur card today. There is also a family craft from 1-3PM. It’s t-shirt decorating, and it’s free with t-shirt purchase. The one in the ad is styled for Father’s Day.

Father’s Day Lego Build and Geoffrey’s Birthday event at Toys R Us stores

South King County

KidX  Carnival at the Outlet Collection in Auburn crafts, entertainment, and fun for KidX Club members (sign up is free).

Visit the HCC Mast Center  at Redondo   The center and its touch tanks of sea critters are free and open to the public every Saturday from 10-2

Puyallup/South Hill/Sumner/Greater Pierce

Summit Library Summer Reading Kick-Off  Events for all ages including exercise classes and the movie Inside Out   The kids’ Yoga class requires registration-six spots left as of this writing.

Summer Reading Kick-Off with Rhubarb at the Puyallup Library Sign up for summer reading and watch for the Rainier’s Mascot today.  Note that this is part of Meeker Days. You will likely not be able to park anywhere near the library.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Paradise Theater  Various show times and dates through July 9th-they have made some changes to their site, so you need to scroll a bit.
