When you’re making your summer plans, be sure to save July 16th and 17th for the Tacoma Maritime Festival, one of our favorite Tacoma area summer traditions! We’re thrilled to be partnering with them this year (You can come meet us at the festival)!
Maritime Fest is a celebration of Tacoma’s maritime history. Admission is FREE, and there are also tons of FREE things for your kids to do.
You can go to the Foss Waterway Seaport museum, tour boats, build your own toy boat, and more! You might even be able to get a free boat ride. Henry and I always have a great time at Maritime Fest, and I was excited to hear that there will be even more to do this year!
We’ll tell you more when the event gets a little closer, but for now, just make sure you have at least one of these days on your calendar. Your little transportation lovers won’t want to miss it!
It all happens JULY 16th 10am-6pm & JULY 17th 10am-5pm in the heart of Dock St in Tacoma (You’ll want to take a free shuttle. You can catch one from several stops, including the transit center, where parking is easy and free)! We’ll be there on the 16th with some fun activities for the kids, and, of course, I’d love to meet you!
If you went to last year’s event, I’d love for you to leave a review! You can also get more information right here!
Disclosure: Sounds Fun Mom is a media sponsor of the Tacoma Maritime Fest and received compensation and promotional consideration in exchange for this post. As always, the opinions are my own, and I appreciate you mentioning the site to the organizers if you go! Thanks for doing that!
