We’re so pleased to have Tacoma Waldorf School joining our sponsorship team this month.
If you’ve been curious about a Waldorf education, or if you just want your children to have a truly magical summer, you’ll want to know about the Heart of Summer at Tacoma Waldorf, a unique summer camp experience open to all. It’s a particularly good choice for Tacoma area parents looking for nature camps or full day camp options.
Children enrolled in the Heart of Summer with Tacoma Waldorf School will experience the freedom to explore the beauty and abundance of summer through creative outdoor adventure, crafts, and play.
The daily rhythm includes: walks, songs, craft, story, and opportunities for free play. Campers also enjoy wholesome and hearty organic meals mid-morning and/or afternoon.
At Tacoma Waldorf, creativity and imagination are valued, and children grow into confident, creative, and respectful people.
If your child’s summer felt a little frenzied last year, or if he or she complained that camp was boring, or rushed, you owe it to yourself to check out The Heart of Summer at Tacoma Waldorf.
I think you’ll find their programs a particularly great choice if you have a child who is artistic, gifted, or otherwise more empathetic and in tuned to the word than his typical peers. Give Waldorf programming a try, and see if it isn’t the different kind of summer experience you’ve been wishing for.
