Let’s cruise into the weekend with a giveaway that has, “Summer Day Trip,” written all over it!

First, are you looking for a great daycamp for kids who love art, science, or using their imaginations?

The Hands On Children’s Museum in Olympia offers unique programs and topics you just won’t find elsewhere.

handson

At the museum’s camps kids might find themselves planting seeds, inventing robots, identifying rocks, dusting for fingerprints, or painting a masterpiece. The Hands On Children’s Museum’s caring staff members are also subject area experts, and your curious kids will be learning and discovering while they’re having a ball.

There are tons of choices to choose from, with something sure to appeal to your little one.

Camps are available for children in preschool through 4th grade, and half day camps can be combined for a full day experience.

All camps are reasonably priced and include instruction from their outstanding staff and plenty of time in the amazing museum.

Olympia Hands on Children's Museum

And, seriously-if you haven’t been to the Hands On Children’s Museum in a while, you should get there soon! It’s a treasure for those of you near Olympia, and definitely a worthy day trip for those of you a bit further. Henry could pretty much live there. Here is a review we wrote when they first re-opened. It has some good tips you’ll want to read before you go.  There is also lots of new, outdoor fun at the HOCM.

We’d love to hear your review of your next visit!

But, wait……I mentioned a contest! Yep, our friends at the Hands On Children’s Museum are so excited about their camps that they’ve given us FIVE family passes to give away to FIVE lucky winners. I just love a contest where lots of readers get to win.

Each pass will let in up to two adults and three children. Yay!

Ready to enter?

Here’s what to do!

  • For a first, required entry, check out the camps at the Hands-On Children’s Museum and leave a comment on this post telling us which of them your child would like the most!
  • For a second, optional entry, check out any of the Other camps in our Summer Camp guide-you’ll find a whole bunch of choices in the menu bar by hovering over, “Summer Camps.” Leave a comment telling us what other great camps might appeal to someone at your house!
  • For a third, optional entry, follow Keri on the new Sounds Fun Mom Instagram. Then come leave a comment here, and tell us you did so!
  • All entries must be left as comments on this post. To improve your odds, each should be left as a separate comment. If you’ve never commented before, it will first go to me to moderate before you see it here. I do have to be offline some today, but don’t panic. I promise it will be there.

Good Luck!

Disclosure: I was provided with the passes for this giveaway and in kind publicity in exchange for this post. Premium listers in our guide have paid a fee to be included. We hope you’ll consider supporting the great businesses that support us!  By entering you agree you are eligible to enter this contest. I will mail you your prize; you are responsible for its use.

Both my boys have done zoo camps in the past and really enjoyed them. There is usually an animal encounter or a behind-the-scenes tour, and I think the other activities are well done, too. The staff seemed older and more professional compared to some other day camps we’ve tried. Keep in mind that some popular sessions/weeks fill quite a bit earlier than others. hth!
