Did you know that it’s National Park Week next week? From Saturday, April 16 through Sunday, April 24, gain Fee Free Access to National Parks! The National Parks System is celebrating it’s 100th birthday this year! As an American, you owe it to yourself to wish the parks system a Happy Birthday and opt outside!
I’m a sucker for getting outdoors with my family. I can honestly say it gives me goosebumps to think of all of the memories we have shared exploring nature, including our amazing national parks system. When I lived in Europe, most of the folks there dreamed of visiting the US specifically to see our national parks.
Here in the South Sound, Mt. Rainier is the nearest National Park.
