Happy Friday! Welcome to Sounds Fun Mom, where you’ll find an amazing list of things to do with kids in Tacoma, Puyallup, Gig Harbor, Olympia, and Your South Sound home!

South Sound Kid's Calendar

Friday

Bounce Play in Gig Harbor  free inflatable time and conversation for moms and preschoolers and tots  Missed it this week? Follow them on Fb and preregister to hold your spot for next time.

Indoor Park at Pen-Met Indoor Soccer Center in Gig Harbor  Every Friday from 11:15-12:30; toys usually left up longer  2.00/child

Many libraries have story times and fun on Fridays. Here is the Puyallup Public Library site, and here is the PCL site.

Saturday

All Over

There are many Egg Hunts and Easter events today. Please head here to our list if you’re looking for one of those! Yes, it is updated for 2016

When Spring Comes Story Time at most Barnes and Noble stores. 11AM   We do suggest calling your location to confirm, as we have found participation to be inconsistent. There is also a Batman Vs Superman event with activities and giveaways. It’s at 1PM at most stores, but check yours. Also note that some stores are having separate events for children and adults.

Kids’ Club at Michael’s Stores  2.00/child for 30 minute sessions  It’s tissue paper egg decorating today. There is also a family craft time today at 1PM.

It’s a free Spring Saturday at Washington State Parks! No DiscoverWA pass required.

Family Baby Bird Craft at Fern Hill 10:30 Make a craft with a baby bird theme today.

Visit the Job Carr Museum in Old Town   Small but interesting museum recreating the life of Tacoma settler, Job Carr. Free; donations welcome Open 1-4PM; ask about upcoming craft Saturdays!

Birds Of A Feather at the Lakewood Library Program from the Tacoma Nature Center 2PM Make a peanut butter pine cone bird feeder; free tickets available 15 minutes before the event.

Children and all ages shows at the Pierce College Science Dome/planetarium  Bring cash!

Family garden craft at the Tillicum Library 2PM Use recycled material to create a haitat for seedlings. Free, drop-in events for the whole family. Children under 6 should have their favorite grown up stay.

Olympia/Lacey
