South Sound Weekend Kids’ Calendar: Family Fun And Things To Do This Weekend!

February 19, 2016 by Maegen Blue

Looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend in Tacoma, Olympia, Puyallup, or another South Sound Spot?

We’ve got you covered with our weekly guide to free and affordable fun for families all over the 253 and the rest of the South Puget Sound.  My favorite thing about this weekend’s list? Lots of it is FREE!

South Sound Kid's Calendar

Ongoing

Want to go sledding or play in the snow? Here’s our guide!  Do check the weather-it’s been warm and wet.

Saturday

Peter Rabbit StoryTime at most Barnes and Noble stores. 11AM We do suggest calling your location to confirm, as we have found participation to be inconsistent.

Lego build event at Toys R Us stores  Free mini build-it’s a shield dock-part of the Nexo Knights collection. These events have gotten more popular, although I’m not familiar with this collection, so maybe it won’t be quite as busy as others? In any case, I’d go closer to the 12:00 time.

Northwest Aviation Show at the Puyallup fairgrounds. This is primarily a trade show, but if you have a kiddo who loves planes or has an interest in aviation, there will be lots to see, and kids 17 and under are free. General admission is 5.00

High Pointe church round-up at the fairgrounds in Puyallup 5-7PM  High Pointe church invites the public to a free evening of western style fun in the expo hall. Mechanical bull, bounce house, kids’ games, food, and more.
