Kids’ Club at Michael’s Stores 2.00/child for 30 minute sessions It’s a monogram clothespin picture frame.
Lego build event at Toys R Us stores Free mini build-it’s a shield dock-part of the Nexo Knights collection. These events have gotten more popular, although I’m not familiar with this collection, so maybe it won’t be quite as busy as others? In any case, I’d go closer to the 12:00 time.
Try hockey for free Kids 4-9 can try ice hockey for free at participating rinks
South King County
Visit the HCC Mast Center at Redondo The center and its touch tanks of sea critters are free and open to the public every Saturday from 10-2 Back open!
Auburn Avenue Kids presents Jack and the Beanstalk at 2PM. Tickets a very reasonable 8.00
Father/Daughter dance in Auburn Do check to see if tickets are available before you go.
Puyallup/South Hill
Children’s Dental Health Day at the South Hill Mall 10:30-2:30 Free dental health screenings for qualified children, goody bags, face painting, and more. Henry and I went to this several years ago. It wasn’t hugely exciting, but he got lots of freebies.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer at Manestage Theater Ongoing through the 21st
Lego My Library at the Puyallup Public Library Stories and Lego building time 11AM
Northwest Aviation Show at the Puyallup fairgrounds. This is primarily a trade show, but if you have a kiddo who loves planes or has an interest in aviation, there will be lots to see, and kids 17 and under are free. General admission is 5.00
High Pointe church round-up at the fairgrounds in Puyallup 5-7PM High Pointe church invites the public to a free evening of western style fun in the expo hall. Mechanical bull, bounce house, kids’ games, food, and more.

Children and all ages shows at the Pierce College Science Dome The children’s show is A Walk on the Moon. Children’s show at 12:30 or 2PM; all ages at 3:15. The children’s show is shorter and interactive. Henry LOVED it. Seriously-this is a Great outing. Go! You do want to buy tickets in advance or bring cash. No cards are accepted at the door.

Lion dance performance at the Lacey Timberland Library 11AM performance and demonstrations in honor of Chinese New Year
Paper airplane flight school at the Olympic Flight Museum 1PM 7.00/child get professional instruction in plane construction, a tour, and a snack! Prizes for flying contest winners. You may want to call first-I’m not sure whether registration is required.

Gig Harbor/Kitsap
Lego building madness at the Gig Harbor Library 10AM All ages are invited to drop in and play with Legos and other building materials. Ages 6 and under should have a favorite grown-up stay.
Peter and the Wolf at the Harbor History Museum Two performances of this favorite classical music performance for children. Russian tea and snacks for sampling, too. Children two and under are free. Tickets for those 3-12 are 25.00. Adult admission is 35.00 or 40.00. The museum calendar has links to more information and Eventbrite purchase (make sure to buy tickets to the time you want).
