Have you been to the LeMay Car Museum (America’s Car Museum/ACM)? If you think it’s not for kids, guess again! There is a great area Family Zone on the lower floor. My kiddos also loved checking out all of the old cars! And, every third Saturday of the month, the LeMay hosts STEM workshops for kids that are included with admission.
For the entire month of November and on Saturday, December 5, the museum is partnering with Northwest Harvest to put the brakes on hunger in Tacoma. All visitors who donate two or more non-perishable for donations will receive $2 off admission, for use on that day or for a future visit.
On Saturday, December 5, King 5’s Home Team Harvest will be broadcasting live as they collection donations at various locations throughout the Sound, including ACM, from 7:00am-10:00am. Get more details for Drive Down Hunger on their site.
