Night Walk at the Tacoma Nature Center Take a walk in the night and listen and look for nocturnal creatures. Enjoy cookies and warm drinks after. 6.00; registration required. For ages 7 and up. Note from SFM: We’ve done this before. As luck would have it, it was sopping rain, so we didn’t see any creatures, and it was too dark to see them. But, the boys thought it was great fun walking through the woods in the dark, and they enjoyed their cocoa. I’m not sure why 7 is listed as the age. I think preschoolers would be fine unless they’re afraid of the dark or would be up too late, but I would call the nature center to check before you sign up.
