Olympia area friends, it’s not too late to sign up for the Brighter Futures Run this weekend.
It’s a 5K run to benefit Community Youth Services, and it’s family friendly and open to all ages and abilities. The, “Spooky Level,” will be kid friendly but fun, with spots like Witches World, Pumpkin Patch and Scarecrow Land, and the Zombie Zone. Naturally, it all ends in a MONSTER MASH party on the plaza in front of the Hands on Children’s Museum (where you can get a discount if you’ve participated!). Plus, all proceeds go to help youth right here in the South Sound.
Costumes are encouraged (A Must, really!), and there will be prizes!
What a great way to get out as a family for a great cause. If you’ve been looking to start running with the kiddos, or you’d just like to do something memorable this weekend, it sounds like a great opportunity to me! I know some of you have also been looking for places your kiddos can wear costumes and enjoy Halloween fun without getting scared or staying up too late. This would be a great solution!
