Last Friday, we met up with some lovely readers at Puyallup’s hippest coffee shop, Anthem. Good thing it was such a beautiful day because the place was hopping and we had to sit outside in the beer garden. No beer was had, seeing as it was only 10:00am, but we did love the coffee. Especially, little Ezra:
We chatted about the new #Imbornto campaign, which benefits all of the amazing programs supported through March of Dimes. #Imbornto taps into the collective hopes, dreams and aspirations that we have for our babies and ourselves. Here’s a #TBT of my baby self.
When I was a little girl, I had dreams of becoming a fashion designer. I knew that I wanted to do something involving art, but somewhere between second grade gymnastics and junior year student government, those dreams died. After high school, I began exploring my creative side again when my brother gifted me a scrapbook. My creative energies were reignited and I have been exploring them ever since! Now, I have fun working with programs like Adobe Illustrator creating graphics and media online. Last July, Maegen welcome me aboard Sounds Fun Mom as her Creative Assistant. It has been a fun avenue for me to make use of my creative talents, and be reminded that I’m born to be creative! Not to mention, I get to meet awesome ladies like all of our readers!
What a super fun morning meeting you lovely ladies at #Anthem in #Puyallup!Loved sharing the adorable goodies and swag you can purchase to support #MarchofDimes this month! #soundsfunmom #imbornto #MoDSquad A photo posted by Sounds Fun Mom (@soundsfunmom) on
At our Reader MeetUp, March of Dimes shared some sweet goods just for our readers. We all especially loved this adorable bracelet by Imbornto partner Alex and Ani.
If you purchase this bracelet between now and December 2015, 20% of the proceeds will go to March of Dimes. This is a perfect gift for a new mom or buy it yourself to show your pride in supporting March of Dimes! We all want to be supported in our hopes and dreams and be reminded of what #ImBornTo do in this life!

Maegen and I had such a fun time meeting up with you all! We especially appreciated your kind words and reader feedback on ways we can customize the site to make it more usable for you! We are looking forward to doing more Reader Meetups this summer, such as Playdates at the Park or Beach. And, we’re looking for your input! If you’re so inclined, would you leave a comment in answer to the following:
- Where are some fun places for a Reader MeetUp or Playdate this summer?
- What days/dates/times in the summer work for your family to participate in a Reader MeetUp?
