Are you looking for a great daycamp for kids who love art, science, or using their imaginations?
At the museum’s camps kids might find themselves planting seeds, inventing robots, identifying rocks, dusting for fingerprints, or painting a masterpiece. The Hands On Children’s Museum’s caring staff members are also subject area experts, and your curious kids will be learning and discovering while they’re having a ball.
There are tons of choices to choose from, with something sure to appeal to your little one.
Camps are available for children in preschool through 4th grade, and half day camps can be combined for a full day experience.
All camps are reasonably priced and include instruction from their outstanding staff and plenty of time in the amazing museum.
And, seriously-if you haven’t been to the Hands On Children’s Museum in a while, you should get there soon! It’s a treasure for those of you near Olympia, and definitely a worthy day trip for those of you a bit further. Henry could pretty much live there. Here is a review we wrote when they first re-opened. It has some good tips you’ll want to read before you go. ย There is also lots of new, outdoor fun at the HOCM.
We’d love to hear your review of your next visit!
But, wait……I mentioned a contest! Yep, our friends at the Hands On Children’s Museum are so excited about their camps that they’ve given us FIVE family passes to give away to FIVE lucky winners. I just love a contest where lots of readers get to win.
Each pass will let in up to two adults and three children. Yay!
Ready to enter?
Here’s what to do!
- For a first, required entry, check out the camps at the Hands-On Children’s Museum and leave a comment on this post telling us which of them your child would like the most!
- For a second, optional entry, follow Keri on the new Sounds Fun Mom Instagram. Then come leave a comment here, and tell us you did so!
- For a third, optional entry, follow me on Twitter,ย check out the boards on Pinterest, or join us over onย Facebook, and leave a comment here that you did so. Note: Fb only shows you a fraction of my posts these days, so while we LOVE our Facebook community and won’t be quitting it anytime soon, we do encourage you to follow us in other ways, so you don’t miss out.
- For a fourth, optional entry, share this post! A fb share is easy, but feel free to tell your peeps at the bus stop, send an email to your homeschool group, or whatever suits your fancy. If you’re really in it to win it this morning (It’s o.k.-we get it!) maybe you want to share with Grandma, so she can enter for you!
All entries must be left as comments on this post. To improve your odds, each should be left as a separate comment. If you’ve never commented before, it will first go to me to moderate before you see it here. I do have to be offline some today, but don’t panic. I promise it will be there.
Good Luck!
Disclosure: I was provided with the passes for this giveaway. I was not otherwise compensated. By entering you agree you are eligible to enter this contest. I will mail you your prize; you are responsible for its use.

Into the zoo and Lego robotics would be the ones they love.
My daughter’s going through a dino, robot, and a let’s build sculptures out of garbage phase so there’s lots to choose from for the pre-k classes. When asked which one she wanted to attend, she replied that they all were “must haves.” I am still building our summer calendar, so we’ll have to see what we can squeeze in. We’ve only been to this museum once, and we LOVE IT!
I have shared this post with a few other preschool mamas that we do playdates with. I have to toot my own horn in saying that I am your biggest fan out of our group, and I regularly tell them about your posts with great outing ideas.
