It’s April Pool’s Day! Many area pools participate in this national event to promote water safety. Participants participate in a hands-on, water safety program and then typically get free admission to a free swim session. There are participating locations in Federal Way, Enumclaw, Covington, Fife, Tacoma, and more. Most YMCAS are also participating. Go here for the list-it’s a pdf about midway down. While I don’t see registration requirements, you may want to call ahead before you suit up and go!

It’s Junior Daffodil parade time! The kid sized version of the Daffodil Parade goes through Tacoma’s Proctor/North End today. If you’re not walking in it, you’ll have fun watching!

Family STEM day at the LeMay Museum special activities included with admission today. I do think admission here is spendy, but it’s a nice outing for car lovers-a good one to do if you have in-laws in town, maybe?

Norway Day at the Thurston County Fairgrounds cultural demonstrations and entertainment, bake sale (Anybody want to get me some lefse? Please?)
