Calling all princesses! There are two popular events coming up for your little royals in training.
First up, This Friday, January 9th, Pierce County Parks and Rec is hosting a princess party in the ESB building at Chambers Creek Park in University Place from 7-9PM. Princesses in attendance will enjoy refreshments, mingle with, “Real,” royals, and take home goody bags and a craft. Fancy dress is a must, obviously!
You can Register online or contact Parks and Recreation staff at (253) 798-4141. I told them you’d be calling, so they’re ready for you!
It’s 13.00 per child. Parents typically stay, and you do not need to pay for yourself. If you can’t make this one, there will also be a 2nd party in April at Meridian Habitat Park in Puyallup, and of course, there are several princess events with the young women from the Daffodil Festival in the spring as well.
OR sign up for the Princess Party coming up in Sumner. This one is at Lakeridge Middle School on Saturday the 17th, and it’s a tea and dessert event with princesses in attendance. Bring your camera! Festivities run from 2:30-3:30, and it’s 16.00 per person attending. You can read more about this event here. Link opens a pdf-event is on pg. 7 I spoke to Alex this morning, and there are just about 8 spots left, so don’t wait if you want in. You can fax your pdf registration in or go in to the office.
Both of these are open to residents of any area. There are still quite a lot of spots for the University Place/Pierce County Parks event, but they will close sign ups at some point so they know how many royals to prepare for! Go here to sign up online or contact Pierce County Parks at (253) 798-4141.
If you have princesses at your house, you might also be wondering about father/daughter dance events. I’ll have the list of all of those later this week.
If you’ve got boys or commoners, no worries. I have lots of fun for all coming up, and there is always tons of fun to be found up in the menu bar!
