Could you use some FREE holiday activities to do with the kids? Who couldn’t, right?
Our friends at the Pierce County Library system asked me to remind you that they have a whole sleigh full of holiday programming this month, and it’s all FREE!
I’ve mentioned some of these great events in our holiday guide and weekend lists already, and I know quite a few of you had a great time making gingerbread houses this weekend.
What else is coming up?
One fun happening is , “Puppets Please.” This is a marionette in the round show, and I heard from several readers last year that the description really doesn’t do this event justice. It’s definitely not your ordinary puppet show.
There are also more gingerbread house making events, ornament and craft making sessions, holiday concerts, and more. Gig Harbor readers, be sure to stop in New Year’s Eve for a kid friendly celebration!
You can see the complete list of puppet shows here. *This is a pdf.
The best way to check out all the other upcoming holiday fun is to head to the library’s website. You can attend events at Any library branch whether or not it’s your, “Regular,” location. Although all events are free, a few branches require registration, so be sure to check that before you head out! Note that some time slots at South Hill are full, but they have added others, so keep scrolling!
