Deal On Point Defiance Zoo Memberships. Save Ten Percent!

October 30, 2014 by Maegen Blue

If you’ve been looking for a deal on a Point Defiance Zoo membership, you’re in luck!

I happened to stumble across a super rare coupon offer for zoo membership in the Val Pak coupon envelope. It’s only 10% off, but honestly, that’s about as good as it gets in terms of zoo membership deals. They ran one comparable one with some bonuses  last year on Cyber Monday.

Point Defiance Zoo

We’ve been zoo members for years, and while a membership isn’t cheap, I do think it’s a great deal.

It will pay for itself in just a few visits, and I think it’s especially nice when you have little ones to be able to just leave if someone gets tired or fussy -without feeling like you have to do the whole zoo to get your money’s worth.

In fact, we’ve been known to just go to the tropical aquarium area on days like today. Try it! It’s (almost) like a mini vacation.

Keep in mind that City of Tacoma residents do get to go free one day a month, so if that’s enough for you, you may not want a membership.  Current and former members of the military also get this deal year round, so no rush for you!

A membership  is also still a good chunk of change. We always get ours with Christmas money from the grandparents. If you just can’t swing it, there are periodic deals on individual zoo tickets-check your Entertainment book, and if all else fails, buy online in advance to save a few bucks.

If you’d like to take advantage of the membership offer use code 965200568 at pdza.org or call 253 404 3635

You have until December 31st to take advantage of this one. It does say it can’t be used on prior purchases, but you should be able to use it to renew one. It’s also good for Northwest Trek memberships, and I think you should be able to use it if you wanted to add Trek to an existing zoo membership, or if you wanted to get a combo. The only level it says it excludes is the premier.

Do you have a zoo membership? I’d love for you to leave a comment for readers considering one. Is it worth it for your family? How often do you find you go?

Just here looking for things to do with your own little animals? You might enjoy the Rainy Day Play tab up in the menu bar, the calendar under, “Coming Events,” or click on our Halloween graphic in the sidebar for all kinds of options for tomorrow!
