I’ve been keeping my eyes open for deals to area pumpkin patches and corn mazes, and honestly, there haven’t been a lot, so I was excited to spot one this morning!
I do think many area patches are now hosting offers on their own sites, so be sure to take a look at ’em before you head out.
I DID find you this fun offer on Amazon Local to local pumpkin patch and produce stand, Ziemke’s, in Buckley.
I’d never heard of this one, but right on cue, my friend Lisa posted some adorable pictures on Facebook of her girls at Ziemke’s!
I asked her for a little review and she said, “ We really liked it! Lots to do and very reasonably priced.”
Sounds like a good bet to me! This deal gets you corn maze admission and a hay ride for four for 14.00. Not bad. Of course, you’ll want to figure the add on costs for some pumpkins.
Readers have also shared some great reviews about other area spots I thought you’d enjoy.
Danielle wrote in about Maris Farms on our Facebook page:
We went to Maris farms. Had a ton of fun. The monster truck broke down as we were standing in line so they had to give everyone their money back. But we didn’t stand in too many lines, and if we did it was maybe 2 min.
and the Hennan family left this note “Went to Maris farm opening day and we had a great time! Our 7 yr old daughters favorite is the zipline she did it about 4x! The roasted corn is the best ever! They have so much more activities this year! We had a coupon from their website 50% off on pumpkins and when we left the big boys and girls crowd was coming in for the night time fright night corn maze! Some of the scary characters started walking around and it look like its going to be scary fun! They also have plenty of police/ security on site.”
If you’re closer to Olympia, Lattin’s continues to get great reviews. Here’s one from Dazza.
We went to Lattin’s Cider Mill outside of Olympia. TONS of stuff for the Kiddo’s, no admission, cider, apple fritters, petting area, games, arts and crafts, food, face painting, tricycle races, pumpkin patch. Great fun. We went early, got almost front row parking, and spent 4 plus hours and didn’t even do everything there was to do.
Now, you’ll want to check hours for yourself, but if you’re looking to entertain preschoolers this week, a trip to a pumpkin patch is always a fun time-even if you’ve already been to one (or two)! When my boys were small, if the weather was nice, we’d go to all the ones in the area.
I’d love to hear reviews of your favorite fall outings, tool! You can leave a comment on this post, or if you’d like to be featured, send an email to soundsfunmom@gmail.com.
If you’d like to check out the deal to Ziemke’s, you can head here to Amazon Local.
We’ve got lots of fun planned this week. You’ll want to check back often!
