Do keep in mind that while most of these spots also offer parties and kids’ night out events, open play times ALL require adult supervision.
Open play at parks and rec centers is primarily in large gym settings, and the equipment is typically a mix of ride on toys and other large motor activities.
Open play at private playgrounds and gymnastics centers typically includes access to a variety of equipment and soft play areas.
Don’t expect to get instruction during an open play session, and puh-leaze don’t try sneaking in a birthday party.
Finally, while I’ve done my very best to update the guide, it’s never a bad idea to call to confirm hours before you go-especially if you’re coming from a distance.
