Did you notice our friends at Evergreen City Ballet are back as sponsors this month? If you’ve been to their family friendly Nutcracker (Yes, I’ll remind you when ticket sales start), or one of their magical Fancy Nancy productions, you’ll be excited to know that they offer instruction for dancers of all ages and levels year round.
If you’re looking for top notch ballet or dance instruction in the greater South King County area, I think you’ll love their professional quality (and totally cute) classes for your aspiring dancers and ballerinas.
ECB Offerings include ballet and pointe, modern jazz/theater dance, and stretching. For young children, Mommy and Me classes are offered for ages 20 months to 3 years. For 3-4-year-olds, Creative Movement classes for kids willing to have a parent watching from the viewing area instead of by his or her side are a good choice. For Creative Movement, children must be potty trained.
It”s not just twirling and spinning either. Dance is a physical art that benefits the whole child and helps develop important cognitive, creative, and social and emotional skills.
Your dancers will also be receiving the very best in instruction as every class is taught by former professional dancers.
What a wonderful gift to give your child! And, seriously-you know those pictures are going to be The Cutest!
Enrollment for girls and boys is ongoing. Tuition is affordable, and if you sign up now you can get an additional FREE gift. New students 3-6 will receive free ballet shoes, and dancers 7 and up will get one free ticket to the ECB production, Elevate. This offer runs just until October 25th.
Oh, and your first class is always my favorite price-FREE!
I have more detail about the Angelina Ballerina program in a post here. For more detailed descriptions of all their classes and a schedule, you can head here.
