A quick reminder that today is opening day for the Washington State Fair-aka The Puyallup Fair.
You can get a 2.00 breakfast at Pioneer Park (the one by the downtown Puyallup Library), then watch the cattle drive and parade for free, and then get free admission to the fair until noon with your canned food donation for the food bank! Bring ’em something good like peanut butter, mac n cheese, or a can of tuna, won’t you?
If you have a flexible schedule this is an awesome way to do the fair.
I’ll have your whole weekend list up in just a jiffy-and yes, there is plenty of other fun around here this weekend!
I also have a post here with tips on how to save on your fair trip. If you’re a fair newbie (or a veteran), and you’d like the straight scoop on where to park, what to do, and how to find the best of free fun, I have an article here that I wrote for our friends at Parent Map!
I’ll see you back here for your weekend list in just a bit!
