Free Outdoor Showing of Frozen Tomorrow At Cheney Stadium

July 17, 2014 by Maegen Blue

I’m guessing just a, “Few,” of you know some Frozen fans.

Cheney fransiscan

If you’d like to Let It Go one more time, you can catch a Free, outdoor show on the grass at Cheney Stadium tomorrow night.

Of course, I’ll have TONS more weekend options in my big list tomorrow morning, but I thought a few of you might want to grab some pals for this one.

You can get the rest of the details here.

I normally don’t like to complain or be negative but the outdoor movie at Cheney Stadium was not good. I got there early which was great but then I was asked to park my stroller in the dirt. ummmm ok?? I have a 1 year old and well the stroller was kind of something I needed. Also, I heard the security guard mention no coolers with wheels or chairs on the grass. Ok, what is the point of hosting outdoor movies if you don’t want the grass messed up. Next, the sun at 6:30 pm was horrible. Last, the sound was horrible. I’m sad to say I won’t be going back. I was really hoping this was something that I can enjoy with my family.

Sorry to hear that, Megan, but I appreciate the feedback! There are quite a few more outdoor movies this summer at more kid friendly venues. Hopefully one of those will work out better for you!

Megan is right. I was there, too. You could not hear or see the movie.

Thanks, Heather. I’ve reached out to stadium staff with your concerns. There are outdoor movies coming up at other venues. Hopefully, they’ll be a bit better!

Does anyone know if they’ve made improvements since Megan’s post? Considering going tomorrow night, but don’t want to waste my time. Thanks!

I don’t, Jessica. You might reach out to them on Facebook. I have a feeling the stroller policy will be the same; but hopefully they’ve improved the sound a bit. Should be a little easier to see with it getting a bit darker earlier.

Keep in touch!
