Openings in Steve and Kate’s Day Camp, And in a Special Teen Rock Camp at Tacoma’s Charles Wright Academy!

July 7, 2014 by Maegen Blue

Hey, Tacoma, It’s not too late to find a great, summer day camp! If you could  use a hand finding something for the kids to do, I’ve got good news! Our sponsors at Charles Wright Academy have spots in their very special camp for teens, and limited spaces in their award winning day camp for younger children.

Rock Camp

Teen Rock Camp! is perfect for aspiring young musicians and singers. Have fun while honing your skills during this week long intensive program. Campers will work hard and play hard in the studio and on stage. Teen Rock Camp is led by Rafe Wadleigh, a professional musician and Charles Wright teacher, and features daily instruction where participants will learn professional tips and tricks, PLUS  lunchtime concerts by some of the hottest bands in the Puget Sound area!
Held at the Language and Performing Arts Center on Charles Wright Academy’s Tacoma Campus July 14th-18th from 9AM-1PM. Campers in grades 7-12 are welcome. Campers must provide their own instrument and lunch.

Seriously-how cool is that? I know a lot of you have younger children, but I hope you’ll think about passing this on. I love the idea of helping kids pursue their passions in a top-notch setting where they’ll learn real, specific skills.
