There are also lots of great hikes, parks, playgrounds, and places to explore under Outdoor Adventures. Phew! Nobody should be saying they’re bored around here!

Tuesday
You can catch another kids’ movie for just 1.00 today. Here’s the complete schedule.
The Puyallup Public Library has a special STEM science fair just for kids 3-6. It’s free, but you’re asked to go in to the library to register.
If you can’t get in, – the South Hill Library has three different story and craft times today.
Puppet shows also start Tuesday. Catch “Little Red Riding Hood” and a 2nd title at Parkland/Spanaway at 11 or Summit at 2:30
Older kids might like a program on fireworks safety in Graham at 2 (Meet a firefighter!) or make a marshmallow shooter at the Lakewood branch at 2.

Free children’s show in Lacey this evening as part of their summer concert series. It’s Alex Zerbe and the science of physical comedy. My whole list of kids’ summer concerts and shows is here.
Wednesday

–Puppet shows move to University Place at 10:30 and Key Center at 2:30 Wednesday, and there is a program on fossils in Fife at 2 (we went to this one last year-you might warn your kiddos that it’s not really about dinosaurs). There is another excellent story time at the conservatory at Wright Park in Tacoma. These include science or nature based activities. You may want to bring clothes for the spray ground at the park after.
There is also story time at the Job Carr Museum in Old Town. These excellent events include history themed stories and related crafts for kids 3-8.
The South Tacoma library has a story and craft time with a crocodile theme with Mr. Brian. These are probably best for preschoolers. It’s free, but you’re asked to register.
Thursday the puppets are in Bonney Lake at 11 or Buckley at 2:30
At the Swasey branch of the Tacoma Public Library there is an art event with Tinkertopia at 3 for kids 6 and up. It’s free, but you do need to register, and the other events have filled. Go here if you’d like to do that.
