Whoop! Happy Summer Vacation, friends.
A few quick ideas for you today! First, The Vacation Bible School list is updated. You can find it here, or hover over “Summer,” in the menu bar, and it’s one of many fun choices you’l find in the drop down menu.
Other highlights?
I wanted to make sure to tell you about the return of the excellent story time sessions at the conservatory in Wright Park. Children can hear science or nature themed stories and participate in a craft or simple experiment. The first one of the summer is Wednesday.
Be sure to stop by the playground after (You may want to bring swim clothes for the sprayground)!
Speaking of the sprayground, several readers have written in to let me know that the awesome sprayground at Les Gove in Auburn now has a rubber surface! All the fun without the head bonks! Yay! You’ll find it and lots of other choices, in the great, big Get Wet! list.
Lacey has their first free kids’ show of the summer tomorrow. It’s pirates! There are also lots of events at Pierce County Library branches. It’s an especially good week if the kids like magic or juggling! Here’s the PCL system calendar.
Need more ideas? Passport to Imagination at Michael’s has started, along with 1.00 movies, free bowling, and more! You’ll find all of those by hovering over “Summer,” in the menu bar. The menu bar is also full of outdoor fun. It looks to be a great week to find a new park or playground. And, of course, it’s Always a great week around here. I hope to see you back, and I’d love to hear what you’re up to!
