Gig Harbor area readers, there is a fun and free event over at the Harbor History Museum this evening.
It’s a program on Wondrous Watersheds presented by our friends from Harbor WildWatch. It’s designed to connect the museum’s newest exhibit, Water’s Extreme Journey, with local watersheds. There will be a variety of family friendly activities, and I think it would be of particular interest to your science and nature loving kiddos. It runs 5:30-8:30, and it’s open house style, so you can just pop in.
Tonight is a 2nd Thursday, which means downtown Gig Harbor will be hosting its version of an art walk, with live entertainment and special offers from area merchants. I don’t know how kid friendly this is (I think it will be more fun for them in the summer months when the trolley starts up!), but downtown Gig Harbor is always a nice walk, and so far the weather looks decent.
