Jumpin Jack and Jill in Sumner on Groupon

March 26, 2014 by Maegen Blue

Hey, Puyallup and Sumner area friends! Jumpin Jack and Jill in Sumner is on Groupon!

This is a smaller, cozier bounce house place-a really nice choice for the toddler set, and it’s honestly been ages since it’s been on any of the deal sites.

The Groupon gets you 5 pop in play passes for 17.00 or 10 for 30- both great deals! You do have to use them within 90 days, but there will probably be 5 or so rainy days to fill before then.

For more deals (including other bounce house places), be sure to check my Deal of the Day page (Lunchbox Laboratory and Discovery Village for my Gig Harbor readers and more)!

Head here to check out the Jumpin Jack and Jill deal.

Disclosure-Groupon links on this site are my affiliates. When you use them for deals that work for you, you help support the site. Hey, thanks!

Puyallup-Teachers Vs Cops Charity Basketball Game Tonight!

March 26, 2014 by Maegen Blue

Hey, Puyallup, I know this will just be way too late for lots of you, but if you’re in the mood for some spontaneous, frugal fun this evening, head on over to Ferruci Junior High for the annual Cops Vs Teachers basketball game.

I go to church with one of the, “Stars,” of the faculty team, and I can assure you that he’s very…..tall.

As always, admission is by donation. This year the game is in honor of Tori Cartwright, an 11 year old PSD student with stage 4 brain cancer. All donations received at the game will go to Seattle Children’s and threestepsofsunshine.

Doors open at 6PM and tip off is at 6:30. The school is at 3213 Wildwood Park Dr. You’ll likely need to park on the shoulder. Note that this is only permissible on one side of the road (It will be the one with all the cars). I do apologize for not getting this posted sooner. It’s been that kind of a week. I do hope some of you will be able to make it. It’s a good time for a great cause!

Mom Reviewed: Our Visit To The Wildly Creative World Of Tacoma’s Tinkertopia

March 26, 2014 by Maegen Blue

Tacoma’s Tinkertopia is a craft supply store like no other, and it would be a great rainy day destination with your kids this week.

If Willy Wonka opened a store for artists it might look like Tinkertopia. The owners call it a, “Creative Reuse Center,” and it’s filled with a dizzying array of recycled materials looking for a new lease on life. Henry was in heaven wandering from bin to bin looking for materials for his, “Inventions.”
