If you’re looking for things to do over President’s Weekend (You know the big ‘uns have some days off school coming up, right? Hey, don’t shoot the messenger….), you might want to plan a day to go to Kids and Critters Weekend at Northwest Trek.
Up to FOUR kids get in free with each paying adult! Woot! That’s a great deal for Trek, where discounts are hard to come by.
If you’d go two or more times a year, I’d still recommend getting a membership, but if once enough is fine for you, this is a great weekend to go. The boys and I went last year, and we had a really fun time despite the February rain and chill. Trek is huge, so it didn’t seem overly crowded by any of the outdoor exhibits. The indoor areas and the tram ride (a shorter 30 minute version this weekend) were cozier, but still not bad.
Note that you can’t use this discount with any other offer (library prize coupons etc…). Oh, and YES, I’ll have a, “Special Edition,” of your weekend events list with lots of other ways to fill your time. You can read more here.
