Seahawks Victory Parade

Here is updated route and parking information for the Seahawks victory parade.

It’s set for Wednesday at  11AM  in Seattle

The route will begin at Denny Way South of Seattle Center. The parade will travel down 4th, past Westlake Park, and finish at Century Link by the north entrance.

Players and staff will be there, along with the Sea Gals, Blitz, and the drum line.

The street will be closed to vehicle traffic, and there is limited parking at Century Link (I’m thinking Westlake may be a good option for parking. Anyone have thoughts on that?)

I would encourage you to dress Warmly, go early, pack your patience, and Have an AWESOME time!

It’s a school day, so if you want to take your big kids you’ll have to excuse them with a case of, “Blue flu,” or something…..

Btw, please don’t take it out on the school system that this event was scheduled in the middle of a weekday. Let’s face it: If they canceled classes everyone who can’t get the day off work would be furious, not to mention all the people who have vacations planned for the end of the year (180 days of school is a state law). End of mini rant. Sorry about that.

I took the day off work and don’t want to take my Kindergartner due to crowding/cold. For that reason, I would be so UPSET if they cancelled school becuase then I couldn’t go! Ha!
