Do you have little ones who love princesses?
Over the last several years, the real-life royal misses from the Daffodil Festival have been out in the community serving as wonderful role models for our kids.
I’m very excited to let you know that they will be expanding these programs with a new Daffodil Festival Kids Club.
Children who become members will get shirts, posters, stickers, newsletters, birthday cards, and much more. The members will also have the first opportunity to hear about upcoming events and be invited to special occasions for members only.
The kick-off event will be March 1st at the South Hill Mall in Puyallup. Kids can sign up for the club at the event, or the day after via the website (link coming soon). Now I know this is a ways off, but I had a feeling some of you would want to mark your calendars now.
I’ll also bring you the scoop on the all the Daffodil Festival events that are open to the public-from their free story times to their very special teas. Update: The first story time dates have been announced! Saturday, February 16th, Daffodil royalty will be reading to boys and girls at Pierce County Libraries, and the Puyallup Public Library. These are Free events, and you’re welcome to bring your camera! You can see the complete schedule on the graphic below!
The Daffodil Princesses and the team behind the festival embody the very best of our communities-service, scholarship, physical and mental fitness, and fun! How to stay in the loop? If you’re not already a subscriber, consider signing up for my emails or following me on Twitter. I also love for you to hang out with me on Facebook-just know that do to recent fb changes, it’s likely you’re missing lots of updates from all your favorite pages (I know…boo..).
